Direction for Wiki What you need before you begin…. 1. Your school schedule with teachers and course for Fall and Spring Semester. 2. A Vision of Success for the 2010-11 School Year
Day 1: Click on www…….. View the video for the STARS CHALLENGE. After viewing the video, click on the link to complete a personality test. This test is # questions long, so make sure you have at least 30 minutes to dedicate to the questions being asked. Once you complete this personality test you will receive your ‘personality type’ identification in letters (example: INFP). Write these letters down, you will need them when you complete the “Mission Statement Form”. I will give you a sheet about, your personality type, to keep when you return to school and let me know your personality letters. You can read about your personality type on the internet, as well. This will help you get a better understanding of the talents you possess, your strengths and areas you may need to improve on. We all have them….”Even Ms. Stormer J”.
Now!!! Take a break and let it all soak in…… for 1 day…. Reflect on who you are as the wonderful creation you have been made to be. Use the information you have gained from your personality test to guide you in creating a “Mission Statement”. Use the worksheet I gave you at your FCSH S.T.A.R.S meeting, to begin writing down your thoughts. This will help you with the creation of YOUR Mission Statement. Come back to this sight after you have had a day or two to compose your thoughts.
Day 2: Great! You have placed your thoughts down and are now ready to compose your mission statement. Click on **Mission Statement** to complete the Mission Statement Form on-line. Once you have completed the mission statement another meeting will be scheduled with you and the FCHS Administrator/Coordinator to discuss the created mission statement and give you a hard copy of your FCHS S.T.A.R.S Mission Statement. At this meeting we will give you further details about the FCHS STARS program.
